Balloon Madness.

Today in science we are learning about Newton's three laws of motion and for the Experiment Mrs Bava fullend up a bit of a Balloon and then fullend up the drink bottle with vinegar Mrs Bava then put the Balloon over the bottle top  and put the baking soda into the bottle causing a reaction that fizzed up the vinegar an made the Balloon start to get bigger.

When vinegar and baking soda mix, an endothermic reaction occurs. This produces carbon dioxide which inflates the balloon. The endothermic chemical reaction will also lower the temperature in the area surrounding the vinegar and baking soda so significantly that you will be able to easily notice the change in temperature.

I found it easy to notice and observe was happening to the Balloon.

I found it hard to understand why the Balloon fills up with the chemicals.

I enjoyed  seeing the reaction from the vinegar as it started to fizz up.

Next time I will try find of  why this reaction is happening.
